When Stacy Miller, CFP® and founder of BayView Financial Planning, came to us at the end of November, she wasn’t starting from zero. She already had an established brand, a clear niche, and meaningful work serving women, widows, and military families.

What she needed was consistency, strategy, and a system.

Here’s how we helped transform her social media from sporadic posting into a streamlined, growth-focused marketing engine.

The Challenge

Before working with us, Stacy had been posting inconsistently. Like many founders, she was balancing:

  • Running her financial planning firm
  • Speaking engagements and professional commitments
  • Client management
  • Content creation

Social media often became one more thing on an already full plate.

She was looking for:

  • Consistent posting
  • Expanded content formats
  • A strategic roadmap
  • Relief from the mental load of daily content decisions

Most importantly, she wanted a system that aligned with her natural energy and communication style.

Step 1: Deep Analytics & Strategic Audit

We began by reviewing a full year of social media analytics from both Facebook and Instagram.

Using our proprietary GPT-powered social media analysis process, we evaluated:

  • Audience demographics
  • Top-performing content types
  • Engagement trends
  • Posting cadence patterns
  • Gaps and growth opportunities

This gave us clear data on what was working, what wasn’t, and where we could improve.

From there, we moved into a strategic consultation with Stacy to better understand:

  • Her annual content cadence
  • Seasonal financial topics (like tax season)
  • Industry compliance considerations
  • Her specific certifications and professional designations
  • Her speaking engagements and thought leadership work

Because financial planning includes regulatory considerations, we ensured our content strategy reflected both creativity and compliance.

Step 2: Building the Annual Roadmap

With analytics, consultation insights, and niche research in hand, we created a high-level roadmap for the year.

This included:

  • Posting cadence: 3–5 times per week
  • Content mix: Reels, graphics, images, educational captions
  • Evergreen vs. seasonal content balance
  • Topic clusters aligned with financial planning cycles

We curate content quarterly, meaning three months are strategically mapped out at a time while leaving space for real-time trends and flexibility.

For Stacy, this meant blending:

  • Evergreen financial education
  • Seasonal topics (tax season, year-end planning, etc.)
  • Brand storytelling
  • Founder-forward content

Step 3: Establishing Key Messaging

Once the roadmap was approved, we developed:

  • 12–15 core messaging pillars
  • SEO-aligned keywords
  • Brand-aligned language standards
  • Multiple strategic calls-to-action

These key messages guide every caption, reel script, and graphic.

Some CTAs focused on:

  • Scheduling consultation calls
  • Downloading lead magnets
  • Signing up for webinars

Consistency in messaging ensures brand recognition, clarity, and authority over time.

Step 4: Founder-Forward Content Strategy

Social media trends consistently show that founder visibility drives engagement. Audiences connect with people, not just brands.

So we implemented one of our signature strategies: scripted, forward-facing reels.

Here’s how it works:

  1. We write the script.
  2. We provide detailed filming instructions:
    • What to say
    • What shots to capture
    • What B-roll to film
  3. Stacy records the footage.
  4. She sends it to us.
  5. We edit and produce a polished reel.

This eliminates the biggest obstacles founders face:

  • “What do I say?”
  • “How do I film this?”
  • “How do I edit it?”

Stacy simply records. We handle the rest.

These reels may include:

  • Talking-head education
  • Voiceovers
  • B-roll
  • Or a blend of all three

The result? Authentic, professional content without overwhelming the founder.

Step 5: Month-by-Month Implementation

We began by building out February content at the end of December, collaborating throughout January to refine tone and messaging.

As February launched, we were already drafting March—and then April.

This rolling system ensures:

  • Consistency
  • Proactive planning
  • Reduced last-minute stress
  • Ongoing refinement based on performance

Early Results

We are just finishing our first full month working together, but early indicators show:

  • Improved consistency
  • Increased engagement
  • Reels outperforming prior content
  • Stronger on-brand messaging
  • Reduced content stress for Stacy

Perhaps most importantly, the mental load of “what do I post?” has been lifted.

Step 6: Automating Lead Generation with ManyChat

Social media visibility is powerful—but we don’t stop at engagement. We build systems that convert.

In addition to content management, we implemented a ManyChat automation strategy integrated with Stacy’s email marketing platform.

Here’s what we built:

1. Keyword Auto-DMs
When someone comments specific words (e.g., “cash flow”), they automatically receive a DM linking to a relevant lead magnet.

Example:
Stacy’s webinar Cash, Cocktails, and Cash Flow is triggered by keyword engagement, delivering the webinar directly while capturing the subscriber’s email.

2. Email Funnel Integration
Once subscribed, leads enter:

  • Webinar delivery email
  • 3–4 follow-up nurture emails
  • Consultation call invitation

3. New Follower Auto-DM
New followers receive an automated welcome message that connects them to key resources and funnels.

4. “Call” Comment Trigger
If someone comments “call,” they instantly receive a direct booking link to Stacy’s calendar.

This system ensures:

  • More email subscribers
  • Streamlined lead capture
  • Immediate engagement
  • Clear pathways to book consultations

Social media becomes not just brand awareness—but a structured client acquisition channel.

The Outcome

In just the first month, we’ve:

  • Established consistent posting
  • Increased reel performance
  • Strengthened brand positioning
  • Automated lead generation
  • Reduced founder overwhelm

BayView Financial Planning now has:

  • A strategic roadmap
  • Clear messaging
  • Automated funnels
  • A sustainable content system

And we’re just getting started.
