InDependent is a military spouse run non-profit organization that focuses on health and overall wellness for the military spouse, veteran and first responder communities. They offer annual virtual summits, various resources, and information about health and wellness in these communities.
InDependent
InDependent’s website was originally on Squarespace but the growth of their organization needed a more robust platform. Aura Digital suggested moving their content over to WordPress.
Since Squarespace and WordPress are not directly integrated, all content had to be moved manually from Squarespace to WordPress.
A full new website was designed on WordPress using a DIVI premium theme. We moved all pages, blogs, and printable resources from one platform to the other, as well as created new page templates for their annual summit landing page and their annual summit dashboards.
The first 20 blogs from their old site were reformatted to match the WordPress platform as well.
Lauren and her team were great to work with. I loved the weekly update emails because they let me know where we were, what was needed from me, and what to expect the following week. I also really appreciated that Lauren and her team didn’t just do what we asked, but provided ideas and suggestions on ways we could improve our user experience.
