Marine Thrift Shop Okinawa is a non-profit organization serving the service members and their families stationed in Okinawa. They have a thrift store in which they take donated items and resell them at thrift store prices. They also offer job opportunities, volunteer opportunities, scholarships, grants, and community outreach.

In this project, we transferred content from a Wix website to a newly designed WordPress site using the DIVI theme.
Our primary focus was to create an updated and streamlined design that enhances user accessibility and functionality. The new website not only offers a more intuitive experience for visitors but also includes expanded sections detailing the client’s community outreach and charitable donations within the local community.
Beyond the website design, we also developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve communication efforts. These SOPs cover how to effectively communicate outreach and donation activities to the audience, streamline the dissemination of information from the Board to the Shop and the broader audience, and include templates for press releases. This comprehensive approach ensures that the client’s message is consistently and clearly communicated across all platforms, reinforcing their commitment to community engagement and transparency.
